CFSC OR CRFSC PAL TRAINING
Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) package (long guns) OR Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) package (handguns).
Each course includes eight hours of mandatory instructional time, the exam and training manual is included. In order to take the CRFSC class you must have already taken the CFSC training. You can’t just have a CRFSC PAL without having the training for the CFSC.
COMBINED CFSC AND CRFSC PAL TRAINING
Canadian Non-restricted ( CFSC ) and Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
You cannot take the Restricted training without having a current PAL Non-restricted or taking the Non-Restricted training first.
CFSC PAL TRAINING and then take the next CORE class saves you money
These are two different classes
Canadian Non-restricted ( CFSC ) and then the next CORE class.
CORE TRAINING
Hunter Safety Training in British Columbia
The Conservation Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) program is designed for individuals wishing to obtain their first B.C. resident hunting license. It is offered through a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Environment and the British Columbia Wildlife Federation (BCWF).
The program is useful for anyone interested in outdoor recreation, wildlife and firearms safety. The successful completion of the program is required for B.C. residents at age 14 or over who wish to obtain a B.C. resident hunter number card, and a first B.C. resident hunting license. The BCWF is responsible for CORE program administration, the keeping of graduate records and the public availability of the CORE examinations through a provincial network of certified CORE examiners.
NOTE
CORE classes can be shortened if you have proof of successfully passing the PAL requirements. This is a new requirement of the BCWF and the Provincial Government. You have to show the instructor of CORE the paperwork that your firearms instructed has given you on completion and passing of the PAL requirements. This is the Canadian Firearms Safety Course Report RCMP GRC 5484E . Then you are exempt from having to do the practical test for firearms. Lets you leave early.
