Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) package (long guns) OR Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) package (handguns).
Each course includes eight hours of mandatory instructional time, the exam and training manual is included. In order to take the CRFSC class you must have already taken the CFSC training. You can’t just have a CRFSC PAL without having the training for the CFSC.

CORE TRAINING
Hunter Safety Training in British Columbia
The Conservation Outdoor Recreation Education (CORE) program is designed for individuals wishing to obtain their first B.C. resident hunting license. It is offered through a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Environment and the British Columbia Wildlife Federation (BCWF).
The program is useful for anyone interested in outdoor recreation, wildlife and firearms safety. The successful completion of the program is required for B.C. residents at age 14 or over who wish to obtain a B.C. resident hunter number card, and a first B.C. resident hunting license. The BCWF is responsible for CORE program administration, the keeping of graduate records and the public availability of the CORE examinations through a provincial network of certified CORE examiners.

NOTE
CORE classes can be shortened if you have proof of successfully passing the PAL requirements. This is a new requirement of the BCWF and the Provincial Government. You have to show the instructor of CORE the paperwork that your firearms instructed has given you on completion and passing of the PAL requirements this is Report RCMP GRC 5484E. This is the Canadian Firearms Safety Course Report. With this course report you are exempt for having to do the practical test, So you get to leave early.

Book a time to get this personal hands on training with the different firearms that maybe used on any required testing.

Timetable of Canadian Firearms Safety Courses & Exams
Both the Canadian Firearms Safety Course and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course are usually scheduled on weekends. Courses are not offered every weekend, only when there is sufficient demand. Private group classes are available. Please be advised to phone as our hours of operation vary.
Saturday – 8:00am to 4:00pm – The non-restricted part of the course (long guns). This is the regular “Canadian Firearms Safety Course” (CFSC) and if you are not interested in handguns, this is all you need. Testing starts at 4pm
Sunday – 10:00am to 3:00pm – The restricted, or “handgun” part of the course (CRFSC). You must take the CFSC to attend this session, or have taken it in the past year. Testing starts at 3pm
